How AI usage is paid for
Pro and Managed include AI Credits in the price — 100,000 on Pro, 500,000 on Managed — that cover normal agent usage with nothing billed separately. If you'd rather, connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or AI Gateway key from Connections: the provider then bills you directly, with no markup from us, and you don't spend credits. Enterprise always uses your own keys — no credits included, because there's no limit to impose.
About the Enterprise license
It's a perpetual internal-use license, not a rental: you buy the right to run the version you got, forever, even if you never renew anything again. The $9,990 includes 12 months of updates and support; after that, your install keeps working exactly the same — the only thing that changes is you stop receiving new versions until you renew maintenance. The license is for your own business's internal use, including using it to serve your own customers (an ecommerce business answering its customers' WhatsApp and Instagram, for example). It doesn't include the right to resell, sublicense, or redistribute oruka, offer it as a managed service to third parties, or run one install to serve multiple outside companies — that's a separate Partner/OEM license.
Yes. Moving from Pro to Managed is immediate — it's the same application and the same data, only the service around it changes. Moving from a subscription to Enterprise (or back) is an infrastructure migration, and we help with the database dump either way.
oruka doesn't impose any. The limits you'll run into are Meta's API limits; if your volume grows, Managed adds dedicated resources instead of a cap.
Before we take the instance down, we hand you a complete dump of your PostgreSQL, and you can keep running on your own server with it — even move to Enterprise if you'd rather not depend on a subscription.
Yes. Paying for the full year upfront works out to two months free on both Pro and Managed, compared with paying month to month. Pick whichever cycle you prefer above, at any time, and switch it whenever you like.
Serving your own customers, yes — that's exactly what it's for: an ecommerce business can run Enterprise to answer its own customers' WhatsApp and Instagram. What it doesn't cover is installing one copy and offering it as a platform to other companies (an agency giving 50 different clients access, for example). That use — resale, white-label, managed SaaS for third parties — needs a Partner/OEM license, not yet available as self-serve; reach out if that's your case.
